Port Erroll AFC is a newly rebooted amateur football club proudly based in the heart of Cruden Bay, bringing competitive grassroots football back to the village.
Formed with a clear community focus, the club was created in response to a shared belief that Cruden Bay was missing a local team to represent the area on the pitch. With strong early backing and enthusiastic local support, Port Erroll AFC is built on the principles of inclusion, ambition, and community spirit.
The club is delighted to be sponsored by the St Olaf Golf Hotel, a valued local business that shares the vision of reviving village football and supporting grassroots sport. Ongoing collaboration with the hotel and the wider community has helped lay strong foundations for the club’s future.
Port Erroll AFC is managed by Sandy Carroll, a vastly experienced figure in Scottish football. Sandy brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the role and is tasked with building a competitive squad capable of delivering exciting, committed football while developing the club’s long-term vision.
As the club continues to grow, Port Erroll AFC will be hosting fundraising events and offering sponsorship opportunities, providing excellent value for local businesses and supporters who want to be part of the journey from the very beginning.
