Back in the days when the LNER owned the Cruden Bay Hotel, Cruden Bay apeared on sets of playing cards in the Beautiful Britain series. I remember back in the 1960s /1970s my parents Charlotte and Denis were in the Cruden Bay Whist Club. They stored the suitcase full of playing cards between matches. There were a number of these set amongst the packs. I wonder what happened to them after my parents time in the Whist Club?
