A residents’ association set up to look after community projects meets at the Congregational Church on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
The Cruden Bay Community Association (CBCA) is a registered Scottish charity (Charity No. SC015768) established in 1984 to promote the well-being of residents in Cruden Bay, Aberdeenshire. Its mission is to foster community spirit and enhance the quality of life in the village by supporting health, education, recreation, and social development. The association collaborates with local authorities, voluntary organisations, and residents to achieve these goals.
CBCA is known for organising a variety of community events throughout the year. One notable event is the annual Cruden Bay Duck Race, held on the lawn at the Kilmarnock Arms Hotel. This family-friendly event features activities like a bouncy castle and offers prizes for race winners, with all proceeds supporting the association’s initiatives.
